Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is Mexican-born musician born into a musical family. Her childhood was spent listening to classical, old boleros as well as traditional romantic and Ranchero songs. Ana loves tangos, operas and other dramatic performances. At the age 16, she began to sing and study music with her mum. Flavio, a Mexican tenor of great renown began to provide her with more intense vocal instruction. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara before moving on to Toluca in Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. When she was a student, and a young professional, she was a part of numerous chamber ensembles and opera choruses in Guadalajara and Mexico City. She sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to southern California. She currently is a part of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and often performs as a soloist with classical Latin American music at private events. In addition to being an active performer as well as an instructor and instructor, her passion for art and music has her active in a variety of different projects. Ana has been a member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as well being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana enjoys singing the traditional Latin American songs and hopes to encourage others to do the same.
