 Amanda Knox net worth: Amanda Knox, an American author is worth of over $500,000. Amanda is well-known for being convicted and eventually exonerated in the 2007 murder of Meredith Kercher.Amanda Knox was born in Seattle, Washington in July 1987. Amanda was studying abroad in Perugia, Italy as an University of Washington student in 2007. On the 1st November 2007, Amanda's roommate Meredith Kercher as found dead on the floor of her bedroom. Amanda and her lover Raffaele Sollecito were detained and were charged with Kercher's murder.Knox was adamant about her innocence and spent nearly four years in jail. In 2014 she was found guilty and sentenced to 28 year imprisonment. The Court of Cassation in Italy was the highest court, and ruled Knox and Sollecito free of any responsibility for the murder. The court found her guilty but was acquitted twice. When she returned to United States, the Italian Supreme Court ordered that the appeal be heard again. In 2015, she was definitively acquitted by the Italian Supreme Court.She started working as a reporter for The West Seattle Herald in 2014. Amanda got engaged to Colin Sutherland, her childhood acquaintance.
